It is New Year's Eve and I am starting my very first blog! ((Yay!))
I have such high hopes in finding the last member of my family this year and I couldn't think of a better way than to document our journey and share it with the world. My name is Heather. My husband and I have one biological daughter and we have been waiting almost 2 years to adopt a baby girl.
I believe in the power of prayer. I also believe in Miracles.
I also know that waiting SUCKS (we have done alot of that already) and that when I have support and friends around me (physically and virtually) I can function better as a person and as a wife/mother. Right now I feel stressed, mainly for the lack of control I really have over anything regarding the adoption process.
Our world can completely change at one phone call. Which can come at ANY time or in ANY moment.

But it does.
Your following my up's and down's in this blog ( my apologies ahead of time btw) helps me know I am not alone through all my worries and unknown things that may come up along our journey
